Weber Food Technology SE & Co. KG expands management board.

After the management board of Weber Food Technology was strengthened last year by Michael Brandt as Managing Director for Technology, Dr. Michael Hausicke is now taking on the position of Managing Director Operations starting in February 2025. In his new role, he will be responsible for and further develop the Production, Purchasing, Quality Management, and Customs/Export Divisions. “These company divisions are vital for our profitability and competitiveness. Michael’s objectives will be to ensure our profitable and sustainable growth, increase the flexibility of our production sites and drive forward digitization and automation opportunities,” explains CEO Tobias Weber.

Weber Food Technology stands for the highest quality, efficiency, and technological excellence in food processing and packaging. With a strong focus on automation and digitization, the company is actively shaping the food industry. To not only maintain this status quo but to further strengthen the company’s market position, Dr. Michael Hausicke will pay particular attention to quality assurance and further development. “The quality aspect of all our solutions and services is particularly important to me – not the least because quality is an essential component of our company’s success,” emphasizes Hausicke. “For this purpose, we will establish processes across our locations that ensure the highest quality standards for our products. This includes maintaining existing standards as well as setting new benchmarks, so that Weber will continue to be seen as a quality brand in the market.”

There are multiple reasons why Dr. Michael Hausicke is the ideal candidate for this important position: The industrial engineering graduate received his doctorate on the subject of strategic technology substitution for production systems and has been working in various production-related departments at Weber since 2014. In 2023, he took on the role of Chief Operations Officer (COO). During his time at Weber, he was able to gain comprehensive insight into various departments and divisions and develop a deep understanding of processes and the industry.
