The automatic Weber weLOAD 4000 infeeder was specially developed for the production of premium goods such as cooked sausage, salami and cooked ham and offers a compact and space-saving design, coupled with maximum user-friendliness. Only conveyor belts are used on the entire infeeder, enabling easy set-up and shorter set-up times before and after cleaning. The upstream weighing and alignment unit weighs the incoming portions and aligns them in the portion flow direction before the portions are transferred to the infeeder. The infeeder accepts the aligned portions, creates the format sets, buffers them to bridge reloading times of the slicer and transfers the format sets to the packaging machine in the correct position. At the infeed point, the operator has the option of making necessary lateral position corrections simply and precisely using sliding clamping pieces. This concept is unbeatable in terms of line length and ease of operation.
For a perfect mechanical connection and a highly functional process, the weLOAD 4000 is available both as a version integrated into a Weber wePACK thermoformer and as a non-integrated version. The main benefits of integration are better accessibility thanks to fewer machine feet and more space under the infeeder.
